How do I apply for staff?
Applying for staff is an automatic process:
1: Play the server frequently & help other players get welcomed to the server
2: Understand the mechanics & game modes of the server
3: You will be ranked up automatically based on performance & attitude toward others
4: Play for long enough OR be extremely helpful & attentive and you'll be staff in no time

If you'd like to apply manually, create a post or comment here with these guidelines:
1: A name you'd like to be called AND your in-game username
2: Any past experience being staff on or owning servers
3: Why you should become staff and what you could bring to the server
4: Any other information relevant to the situation or application
What kind of server experience can I expect?
CommenceSMP is a fully custom, hand-made server with tons to do. Each feature is crafted with care and attention to what the community would like. If you have any questions, view other areas of this FAQ, the news articles, the Discord, the in-game /info command, or simply ask a staff member for help on any topic.
What is RTP? How do I use it?
If you wish to teleport randomly in your current game-mode,
type /rtp
This will teleport you to a random location so long as its safe.
If the location is not safe, it will try again until its safe.
How can I get help with something that's not listed?
If you need help with something that is not listed, the easiest and quickest way is on the Discord. Find the Discord link at the bottom of the page.

What even is Mythical Realms?
Mythical Realms is an online MMORPG inspired game-mode featuring emphasis on heavily modified gameplay. Notable features are the kingdoms, jobs, skills, quests and story quests. To access this game-mode in-game, type /mr.
How can I understand what to do in Mythical Realms?
When you first join Mythical Realms, your tutorial will start. This will allow you get familiar with the game-modes mechanics. There are many features that are not explained, however, and those must be naturally found, told to you by someone else, or found in the /help and /info.
What kind of experience can I expect from Mythical Realms?
Mythical Realms is a unique, hand-coded experience that functions unlike any other. Almost all aspects of the game have been heavily modified to enhance the experience. At the beginning, you choose a Form race out of numerous options. Each one handles different and you have to figure out which one best suits your playstyle by taking the quiz at the beginning. After that, you experience many other features. When you hit mobs or mine blocks, you'll find yourself leveling up your skills. You can join Kingdom's or start your own. Get a job and make money, eventually having your own company and are able to employ others. Check out the main menu with tons of shops and features with /mrm. Go gambling in the Casinos in Harp City. Check out the magic shop in Enchantia to cast spells. There's so much to do and explore!
What is a Form? How can I tell what Form I am?
A Form is a Race, Class, Origin or Being. Each Form has many attributes that affects how your experience is played! Every player is required to Choose a Form when entering the Mythical Realms game-mode. Currently, you can see which Form you selected by looking at the Sidebar or typing /mrm and hovering over your head. If you'd like to switch your Form, the only way to currently do so is to ask an admin, but beware; it will cost you! In the future, you'd be able to switch your Form by Divine Intervention or obtaining a Potion of Form Reset.
What are Skills? How can I check them?
There are a variety of skills that impact a large portion of gameplay. Each skill starts at a basic level, and can level up to increase your stats in that field. You can check out your skills, progress, and enhanced abilities by typing /skills.
How can I set or get back to a Home?
If you'd like to set a home, you can do so multiple ways. Primarily, typing /home brings up a GUI that allows you to set your first home. Alternatively, you can type /sethome [name] to set a home. To teleport to a home, you can type /home to bring up the GUI and teleport to your most recently set home, or type /home [name] to teleport to a specific home.
How do I use the warps?
There are many places to explore in the Mythical Realms. Type /warp for a list of the available warps. Click an option to warp to that location.
What's a magic item?
A magic item is an item enhanced by a witch or warlock. The item is able to use additional abilities, not found in the vanilla game or other game-modes. For example, magic wands are enhanced versions of other items that allow for casting spells.
How can I cast spells?
You can cast spells by obtaining a specific magic item, like a magic wand, and right clicking to open the GUI. If you haven't selected a Magic school yet, you will be promoted to do so before being able to select a spell. Once you've selected a spell, you can reuse that spell easily by left clicking. To choose a new spell, right click.
How can I obtain custom Form items?
Almost every Form has custom items that are enhanced by the abilities of that Form. Each item can be obtained differently, so you'll have to go questing in the Form base you want to obtain the item from to learn how to either craft or obtain the items you desire.
How can I view useful information in the gamemode?
There's tons of useful information that can benefit your gameplay experience in the Mythical Realms. First, you can type /info and /help for basic information. You can type /mrm for information on yourself and the main menu. You can also explore the Discord for information, and this website is a great place for information as well!
How can I join a Kingdom?
If you want to join a Kingdom, it's very simple. Type /kingdom and click the Kingdom you desire to join. Once you're in, type /kingdom again to view basic information and have basic controls. You can leave a Kingdom at any time.
What can I do in a Kingdom?
Once you're in a Kingdom, you can do many things. If you're the owner of the Kingdom, you can adjust numerous settings to make the Kingdom exactly how you'd want it. As a member of a Kingdom, you can visit the /kingdommarket and even sell items if the owner allows. You can view members, purchase land, promote other players or be promoted yourself, get a Kingdom job, and much more.
How do I create a Kingdom?
If you'd like to create your own Kingdom, it's very simple. Type /createkingdom [name] to create your very own Kingdom. You must have the required funds to create the Kingdom. Part of the required funds is your deposit, which allows your Kingdom to have funds. Once you create your Kingdom, you can type /kingdomsettings to view the settings associated with your Kingdom. You can view your Kingdom market with /kingdommarket and sell items with /kingdomsell [inventory or hand] [price].
How do I join a Job?
There are many jobs to join. You can type /jobs to view available jobs. If the job you want is not there, you can wait a few in-game days and the list will update. Once you have a job, you can start earning money immediately. Type /job to start your daily quests, which give big payouts, or find your job boss. You can quit your job at any time.
What's a Job Company?
Once you join a job, you'll find you're part of a job company now. The job company is what you're paid from. The company will assign you daily quests, which are items the company needs immediately. You can also earn money from a company by doing small works, like chopping trees as a Lumberjack or Woodsmith.
How do I earn money in a Job?
Type /job to bring up the jobs GUI. You can earn money by completing your daily quests or simply doing small works, like crafting weapons as a Blacksmith.
What is a Job Boss?
In a job, you'll have a boss. This boss is employed by the same company as you and they are in charge of what you'll be doing. They pass along helpful information and assign your daily quests and eventually pay you as well.
How can I rank up?
You can rank up in the Mythical Realms by receiving a Position Point from a player of a higher rank than you and in the same kingdom as you.
What is a Position Point?
A position point is like a cred point. Your position points are determined by how other players perceive you. If you do helpful things or have connections, you can rank up easily.
How do I use Position Points?
Once you receive your first position point and rank up, you'll be able to then rank somebody up using /pp and clicking on the player you'd like to rank up. They must be in the same kingdom as you and a rank below yours.
What is an Epic Position Points?
An epic position point is required to obtain ranks above King. They are only given out by a select few on the server, so receiving one of these is like an award!
How do I use Epic Position Points?
If you're a high enough rank, you can use /epp to rank other players up. It works the same as a regular position point, in that you have to rank somebody under you and can only be promoted by ranks above you.
What ranks are available?
There are many ranks available. You start as an Adventurer, and when you join a Kingdom you become a Commoner. Once you rank up for the first time, you'll be a Squire in a Kingdom and a Baron outside a Kingdom. After that, you'd become a Duke in a Kingdom and a Knight outside. After that, you can become a Noble, who is a King's assistant. If you're not in a Kingdom, you'd stay as a Knight. If you're the owner of a Kingdom, you're a King. Above a King is an Emperor, who is in charge of several Kingdoms at once. Above that is the Pope, who's in charge of all Kingdoms. Above that is the Superior, in charge of it all. Then the Gods and Devils, who see it all from behind the glass.
